35-36 week photo

Hello Everyone! Thought I would finally post a 35 week picture even though I am now halfway to 36 weeks (Friday). Been doing well, feeling achy and having the Braxton Hicks Contractions. Time is getting closer! It's almost October! We pretty much have everything ready minus a few things (diapers, some formula, etc). I am moving a lot slower too, getting up a lot slower, etc.

I am definitely all baby!

Happy Fall!

Happy Fall everyone! Fall is such a great time of year--the air is crisp, the leaves turn different beautiful colors, pumpkins and apples to pick, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and much more! Plus this year we will have our beautiful new baby girl in the fall! But I don't think we will be able to see very many different colored leaves, as it has been so dry. I am hoping there will be a good crop of pumpkins to choose from!
Enjoy!

A New Friend

A new friend for Mackenzie's bunny, that is. We finally decided what she could give lil' sis when she gets here--a furry little puppy friend. It feels just like her bunny did when it was new and Mackenzie loves it....let's just hope there is no problem parting with it when Aubrey comes :-) Although I don't think she will have a problem when she sees what Aubrey brings her (I will share about that when Aubrey comes and the 2 girls meet).
The bunny, as you can tell, has been very loved. I am sure the puppy will be just as loved. It is a baby Gund...so soft and cuddly!
In other news, I will be 35 weeks on Friday--hard to believe! The time is getting closer that we will be able to meet this little one and are so excited! I can already tell Mackenzie will be a protective big sister and it will be neat to have a baby around once again and watch the girls together! The holidays will definitely be fun this year--they always are, but with 2 kids for the first time it will really be fun! I will be posting a 35 week picture sometime this weekend!
Have a terrific Tuesday!

Funny thought for the day

We went to Kohls last night to get Mackenzie some new shoes--some black ones and tennis shoes. She needed some new shoes for fall. She calls her black shoes her dancing shoes. She then told me " look, I'm walking on my hips". Itwas too cute, as she was really walking on her tippy toes.

Happy Thursday!

Playing Dress-Up

What's more fun than playing with mommy's old dance recital outfits? Watching my 3 and a half year old little girl play dress up with them and put them on her own special way. It was too cute and hilarious--great to watch while we watched Purdue beat Western Illinois. Boiler Up!
Enjoy the pictures! I sure enjoyed the fashion show!

Hiking Fun

Jim and my dad took Mackenzie hiking at Turkey Run State Park over the long labor day weekend. They left early in the morning, took a lunch, and did some exploring on the trails. Of course, she also got to play on the playground before coming home after lunch. She did a great job and really enjoyed herself! They also got lots of good pictures--check them out!

The little Miss Kenzie

Now what?

Look over there Daddy!

Big hug for grandpa!

Come on Grandpa!

Getting a piggyback ride through the water.

Stopping to eat some lunch.

What can I do now?

Playing on the playground.

I see you Kenzie!
All in all, she did great for her first time hiking! It is always fun to do new things, especially that now she is old enough to do the trails!
Have a wonderful Wednesday!

Racing fun with Daddy

One of the racing owners near us(John Force) had an open house at their building one day last week. Jim went after work and then came home to get Mackenzie so she could go. She loved it! Afterwards, they went and played in some grass. Pretty nice that it was just in the back of our neighborhood.

Below are some pictures of the field that they went to so Mackenzie could run around after going through the racing building--have to run that energy out!

They went to Turkey Run today so I will post pics soon of that outing! We are starting to have some nicer weather where it isn't so hot so that is nice for me being 32 and a half weeks pregnant. Fall is always such a pretty time of year!
