Happy 18 Months, Mackenzie!

Well, we made it through the first year and a half as first time parents. We celebrated yesterday by going out for dinner. :-) It has been awesome and the best experience. God has given us quite the little miracle. Now we have a very curious toddler on our hands. There are so many things that we love about Mackenzie--the list could go on and on and on. Of course, we are her parents, so everything about her is perfect. Here are a few things that I wanted to make a list of:

1. Her laughter and giggles when we tickle her.

2. Her urge to explore everything in the world.

3. Her grin and her happy disposition.

4. The way she can mess up a room (house) within seconds but take forever to clean it up.

5. The way she loves to read and be read to (especially with mommy being a teacher).

6. Her climbing abilities (they are amazing!)

7. Her willingness and happiness when we go on outings.

8. Her fullness of energy (it keeps mommy and daddy on their toes!)

9. Her excitabilty about walks (we all get our exercise in).

10. When she is lovable, and just constantly gives hugs and kisses.

It is so rewarding, as a parent, to see and watch her grow and do all the new things that she does. She has so many things to learn, but yet, she has already learned so many new things.

Thank you, God, for this wonderful gift to us.
