Fall Fun!

Fall is such a pretty time of year. The air is crisp, the leaves are turning vibrant colors, we get to pick pumpkins (if we are lucky we get to paint them) and eat the seeds. There are some days where it would be nice to have a fireplace :-) Oh well, we have lots of blankets :-)

Speaking of painting pumpkins, Mackenzie got to paint a small pumpkin at the library the other day. Here is how her masterpiece turned out:

We had quite the busy day today....we went on a 3 mile walk and then went to the pumpkin patch! As it was so cold, we all had to really bundle up for the walk (it was to benefit the Special Olympic kids). Thanks, Chad and Amy for letting us use the jogger!

Miss Mackenzie had a mouth full of Cheez-its!

She may have been cold, but she was happy...this was before the walk-once we started going, we got warmed up a little.

After our walk, it was time to head to the PUMPKIN PATCH!!! Holidays are so much fun with a 2 1/2 year old! Mackenzie was sooo excited to go on a hay ride!

She was in pumpkin heaven! I loved seeing her in the middle of all the pumpkins!

She feel twice in the mud while we were there so she was ready to go home and get a bath!
