Playing in the sand

Green sand, that is! Mackenzie has been attending a Kindermusik camp for 5 weeks this summer. It is for one hour one day a week where I go with her and we go to the library to attend the class. Lots of fun for the kids and she loves her new camp songs. It is a beach/water theme and the kids have enjoyed playing instruments, flying finger kites, learning new songs, playing in the sand, enjoying a snack, reading books, and learning about sea animals/creatures. The kids have gotten to take home various items, such as a cup of green sand. Grandma and grandpa surprised her by getting a tub and filling it with more green sand and putting things in there for her to find, such as seashells, and small farm animals.
