Gymnast In-Training

Are you ready for the olympics? I think we may have a gold medalist in-training. Mackenzie has started gymnastics class. This is something she looks forward to every week. It is great to learn new skills, socialize, take turns, and make new friends. This week, we did the uneven bars, rings, hula hoop, and of course, the forward roll to name a few. As with every week, they also got to get in "the pit". You will get to see that in the video at the end. Tons of fun!
Here are some pics and a movie!

Waiting for class to start. Daddy, look at all those leotards!
She has to work hard to pull herself up! They were supposed to form a W by putting their feet outside of their hands. Mackenzie would hold on for a few seconds then let go and lean back on her teacher. She made the adults do the work. After a couple times, she got more confident in holding on herself.
This is fun! They were to keep their arms straight and hold themselves up.
Let's sit for a minute!
We have to bring education into it and jump on the letters.
Here is the video of what I call "the pit". It is fun for the parents and children to jump into together.
