Lions and Tigers and Bears, Oh My!

Well, we finally took Mackenzie to the zoo this weekend. We had been talking about it for some time now, and no better time than the present. We got to see lots of animals, take a train ride, and do lots of walking! We saw s-s-snakes, birds, ducks, lemurs, dolphins (we got to touch the baby ones), lions, giraffes, elephants, and many others. Mackenzie really enjoyed it, but of course she was on overload and didn't know what to think. She barked at some of the animals (so cute)! She gazed in awe at many of the animals. There are lots of pictures here, but I wanted to include them because it was her first zoo trip and it is such a fun place for kids.
