Mackenzie is doing great on her swim lessons! She thinks the water is too cold though-she is shivering every day at the end and her lips are turning blue! The lessons are inside and the water is 80ish. She is doing really well on her skills, though, and has learned a lot! Some of her skills she has learned with help are: floating, ducking under water, blowing bubbles, kicking her legs, front stroke, jumping in while being held, etc. She has another week after this so much more to learn! I did get some pictures today, so enjoy these pictures of the little munchkin!
Jim is off this week, so he is getting in with her and I will get in next week! So since I had an extra pair of hands this week I had to get in some pictures while I could!

Her lessons are at the High School pool.

Learning to blow bubbles!

Trying to float on her back. She does not like being on her back in the water but she is getting better at trying it.

Just hangin' in the innertube waiting for directions from her teacher! The lessons were taught by someone from the American Red Cross.
Going under water and showing off the breast stroke!
Here they are playing Ring around the Rosie in the water-you will hear the adults singing! See if you can find Jim and Mackenzie-they did not duck under at the end when "we all fall down" is said.
Happy swimming! Enjoy the pictures and videos! Have a great rest of the week! We have lots of fun holiday activities coming up this weekend so be checking back for some fun posts!
