A Mini-Vacation

We wanted to go on vacation before school starts up for Mackenzie. We decided to stay close with me being 29 1/2 weeks along in my pregnancy and went to a hotel with an indoor waterpark not too far from home. It was a lot of fun and we all really enjoyed ourselves. Kenzie loved staying in the hotel and being able to go swimming. It was amazing the difference in her around water from the beginning of the summer until now. At the beginning of the summer, she wouldn't even get her head wet and now she is like a fish in the water (Thanks Casey)! She was using all her swimming skills and even going under like it was nothing. She was continually asking me to help her learn to swim in the big pool without her life jacket.

She was ready to go, packed and everything by noon, check-in wasn't til 4 and we were only going about 20-25 minutes away. Too cute!

Now we're ready!

She is all ready to get in!

Enjoying the water!

Waiting for the bucket to tip with daddy. They had a bell that would ring before the bucket dropped and she loved hearing the bell. It would drop many gallons of water and by the time we left she loved to go stand under it.
In the hotel room.

Kenzie took this picture and I think she did a pretty good job. Hard to really tell how big my belly is from this view though. I will need to get a side profile up because it is much bigger than it looks in the picture.

Playing a little putt-putt at the hotel before the waterpark opened on day 2.

A quick picture of the kids area.

All of us in the water.

Daddy and Kenzie in the lazy river. I joined them the next time around and Mackenzie decided to swim next to us.

Check out the movie of Jim and Mackenzie going down the water slide in the kids area. Lots of fun!
We had a great weekend! Our last little getaway before baby comes and before school starts for Jim and Mackenzie. Hope everyone had a great weekend and will update more soon! Have a great Monday and enjoy the pictures!
