First Day of Preschool

Well, we got through the first day of preschool. I had some tears (after leaving her) and Mackenzie was all smiles. We are so proud of her! She did so well--we went in with her, got her nametag on, helped her get her bookbag in her cubby, helped her find her spot on the rug for circle time, and then said our good-byes. It was fun to hear what she had to say when I picked her up. Luckily, there was a note sent home with things the kids did so I could ask her about stuff other than going outside to play. :-) She did say she made a school bus (I am assuming it is the nametag for her cubby), painted, had snack, played outside (of course), read stories, practiced cutting and writing her name. All in all, it was a great day with lots of fun! She had such a busy morning she came home and slept for about an hour before lunch (she goes to school from 9-11:30).

Jim started classes Monday also, so we had to get a picture of both their backpacks by the door together.

She is all ready to go!

Outside pictures

Of course, bunny had to go too but stayed in the bookbag.

Her and her friend Beckett standing outside the school--they are in the same class.

Outside the classsroom.

Sitting and ready to start circle time. Her spot is on the elephant.

She was still smiling when I picked her up. She had a great day and a lot of fun! Mommy and Daddy are so proud of you big girl! We now officially have a preschooler!
Looking forward to a great year of preschool!

Glad she enjoyed it and it went well! The girls start on Friday and I think it is going to be harder on me than them. We will miss seeing you guys each week! How did we make it through the entire summer already and not have a playdate?!
