RSV

I never thought either one of my girls would end up with RSV. I think with Mackenzie bringing home sicknesses from school, colds and whatnot, multiple times, Aubrey's little body just couldn't fight it the last time. Kenzie had a bad cold/cough and Aubrey's cough was classified as symptoms of RSV. She also had congestion and low oxygen levels. Took her to the dr, got a breathing treatment, checked oxygen levels again and they were just right. So we got a breathing machine delivered to our house and have been giving her treatments. We are now starting to wean her off of those and are definitly seeing huge results from last week to this week. She has her appetite back and is starting to sleep better. We are so happy she is feeling better and back to her happy self.

Granted, any baby can get this sickness, but mine was not a candidate. She was not a preemie, she was/is a healthy baby, and was 8.5 pounds. We are just thankful it was caught early and taken care of.

Here are a few pics of her first breathing treatment--she does not like them at all! What baby does?

As you can see, not a happy camper, but one that is definitly on the mend!

I saw the Praxair truck in your drive...I was worried! So glad Aubrey is doing better. Don't ever hesitate to ask if you need ANYTHING! I'm only a couple of houses down!
