The slicked back look

The only time I can get Aubrey's hair to lay down is when it's wet down.  Otherwise, it sticks straight up.  Check out this pic--too cute!

Becoming more self-sufficient

Aubrey has really been developing her voice and personality lately--it is so cute! The problem is when she wakes up jibber jabbering at 3am! Anyways, a big thing she is doing is holding her own bottle.....check this out!

When it is feeding time, we just get her and put her in our lap, get her going with the bottle and then she takes over.

Enjoy! Kenzie has her first soccer game on Saturday so I will try and post about that--first time she has played on a team and looks adorable in her uniform!

Peek-A-Boo!

RSV

I never thought either one of my girls would end up with RSV. I think with Mackenzie bringing home sicknesses from school, colds and whatnot, multiple times, Aubrey's little body just couldn't fight it the last time. Kenzie had a bad cold/cough and Aubrey's cough was classified as symptoms of RSV. She also had congestion and low oxygen levels. Took her to the dr, got a breathing treatment, checked oxygen levels again and they were just right. So we got a breathing machine delivered to our house and have been giving her treatments. We are now starting to wean her off of those and are definitly seeing huge results from last week to this week. She has her appetite back and is starting to sleep better. We are so happy she is feeling better and back to her happy self.

Granted, any baby can get this sickness, but mine was not a candidate. She was not a preemie, she was/is a healthy baby, and was 8.5 pounds. We are just thankful it was caught early and taken care of.

As you can see, not a happy camper, but one that is definitly on the mend!

Sweet Moments

Nothing like kissing my sweet baby girl. We have been so blessed to have Aubrey in our lives'. Our family is complete. We have two sweet girls. Daddy is outnumbered but he loves his girls'.

She is getting a little fuzzy head of hair and is such a happy baby. She looks a lot like me as a baby.

One Month Old

Wow! I can't believe I have a one month old! I also can't believe I have an almost 4 year old!Time sure goes fast! I have had a lot to blog about lately, but I will admit it is hard now to find time with two kids. When Mackenzie has quiet time and Aubrey is asleep I want to relax myself!

Aubrey is doing great--she is only waking up once a night to eat and is a happy baby. She is strong too! She does a great job holding her head up and is adored by her big sister.

One month stats:

Weight: 10lb 8oz

Height: 21 3/4 inches

Head size: 14 1/2

She is perfect and healthy. Mackenzie is very protective of her and was very upset that Aubrey had to get a shot at her doctor visit.

First Purdue Game

I had to take pictures of Aubrey's first Purdue game. Even though we did not win, it was still fun to dress her up in her Purdue.

Two Days old

Here are some pictures I took of the baby's room....I am hoping you can tell see the purple. The room is pretty much done, minus a few final touches. Take a look! Hard to believe, but exciting too, that I will be 28 weeks tommorow (Friday) and into the last trimester.

Hard to believe that 10 weeks from tommorow I will be full term (38 weeks)! Exciting thought! Hope everyone has a good weekend...we have maternity pictures and a family reunion.
